Reduction (Pythagorean 1–9 cycle)
A–I = 1–9, then the alphabet repeats: J=1 … R=9, S=1 … Z=8. This is the same family as Pythagorean numerology letter values.

Many English calculators label this “English Gematria.” Each Ordinal value is multiplied by 6: A=6 … Z=156. On GEMAFIA this cipher is named Sumerian.

Jewish / Agrippa (GEMAFIA mapping)
This is GEMAFIA’s Jewish / Agrippa English cipher — a Hebrew-inspired mapping used in English decode tools. It is not a letter-for-letter transcription of biblical Hebrew mispar hechrachi on aleph-tav. Other websites sometimes use a different “Jewish” Latin table (often J=600, V=700, W=900). Always check which chart a tool is using.

How to use the chart with the calculator
Pick a word. Add it by hand in Ordinal using this page. Then type the same word on the GEMAFIA gematria calculator and confirm the Ordinal total matches. If it matches, you can trust the other 60+ ciphers for that session. If two websites disagree, they are probably using different “Jewish” or “English” tables — compare their charts to this one.
